The Urban Philanthropic Fund works to support small-scale and early-stage nonprofits that serve otherwise under-addressed needs in the New Haven community. We do so by providing grants drawn from the UP Fund’s investment portfolio returns, administrative support tailored to the needs and requests of our non-profit partners, and improved access to other larger avenues of fundraising.

This year, the UP Fund will be providing grants to our non-profit partner agencies. In order to receive grant funding, organizations will be assessed on the criteria of need, project description, and organization capacity.

Applications will be accepted up until March 25, 2024. Grant Awards will be distributed by early May.
